The Star NLQ/LQ/LC dot matrix printers, are worth a mention on the CPC Wiki, only because they were also available with a CPC adapter, allowing them to connect directly to the CPC.
Star LC10
The Star LC10 from Star Micronics Co., Ltd. was, according to many, the perfect printer to attach to a CPC.
Can be dip-switched to Epson LX800 (default) and IBM Proprinter II compatible modes. The Epson mode should be (fully?) compatible to Amstrad Printers (DMP2000 and newer ones, not DMP1).
